after dropping out of his ethnology studies early, vasconceflash kept himself afloat with jobs for some years. in the 90s he worked for a while in a heidelberg comic book store and cleaned old people's apartments. after moving to berlin he washed dishes in a café in prenzlauer berg and edited cheap films in a kreuzberg backyard. at the age of 28 he started studying to become an art teacher. vasconceflash has been working in schools in berlin and near heidelberg. in 2018 he started a parallel existence in the kypseli neighborhood of athens and works there temporarily in a community studio.
